Our Story

Strength in strategy

In the early 2000s, Andrew McRitchie and Australian cricket legend Darren Lehmann co-founded Helix Group Management with a vision to provide athletes with dedicated support and career management. Macca’s passion for representing sports talent led him to establish a strong talent division, supporting athletes across Cricket, AFL, Soccer, and Cycling. Recently, the Talent Management division expanded to include recruitment, leveraging Macca’s extensive network across Australian and international sports.

Darren Lehmann, a celebrated former Australian cricketer, brought his strategic insights and sports leadership to Helix. Known for his successful cricket career, Lehmann played an essential role in shaping Helix’s approach to mentorship and development. Together, Macca and Lehmann also founded the Darren Lehmann Cricket Academy (DLCA), which has been nurturing future cricket talent for nearly two decades.

Helix Group has since expanded its services, adding Sport Business Consulting and Project Management to meet the dynamic needs of sports and entertainment. The team’s collective expertise continues to help athletes and organisations reach new heights.
