Andrew McRitchie

Andrew McRitchie (or Macca) is the founder of and Managing Director of Helix Group Management. He heads up our Talent Management division, working tirelessly to represent and support our talent through all phases of their career. Recently the Talent Management division has added Recruitment to the mix, utilising Macca’s vast network in Australian and International sporting circles. Along with Darren Lehmann, Macca is the Co-founder and the CEO of the Darren Lehmann Cricket Academy (DLCA) which has been operating for 18 years. A husband and father of four he supports the mighty Mt Lofty Devils – where two of his kids play and has recently officiated in his 150th game of goal umpiring duties.

Luke van Kempen

Fast Facts 

Luke van Kempen (or LVK as we know him) brings over 20 years of experience in the sport industry to the Helix Group Advisory and Project Management Team. An industry specialist in sporting pathways, governance, marketing, public relations, social impact and environmental sustainability, Luke has previously held leadership roles with state and national sporting organisations, along with commercial roles within and outside of the sports industry.

LVK is currently the Vice-President of Sport Inclusion Australia, the Chair of the Taverners SA, Chair of the South Australian National Football League Juniors Committee and a Trustee on the Les Favell Foundation.

A husband and father of two, LVK helps out with the kids local footy and cricket clubs and is a Life member of the Melbourne University Football Club.

Sarah Beesley

Fast Facts

Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Helix Group Advisory and Project Management team, having worked in the not-for-profit, and sport and recreation sector at various levels over the past 20 years. Most recently Sarah held executive leadership positions with Golf Australia, Baseball SA and Water Polo SA.

A qualified accountant, Sarah recently completed the Executive Education Leadership Program at Uni SA and last year became a graduate from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, GAICD.

An expert in Strategy, Governance, Finance, Risk and Stakeholder Management, Sarah currently sits on several Audit and Risk Committees and has sat on a number of Boards in the past.

A mother of four active children who have all played state level sport representing SA in various codes, Sarah has always been heavily involved in club sport and junior development. Sarah still plays competitive sport and is an advocate for women in leadership and sport.

Richard Kelly

Richard Kelly (Rich or Dickie) is an accomplished commercial operator with leadership experience in the media and sports industries. Rich heads up the Commercial Division of Helix Group Management that connects our talent and clients to rights holders, creating authentic partnerships that deliver value to all concerned. Dickie is a Talent Manager with our partner – Hemisphere Management Group – and is the Commercial & Partnerships Consultant for the Norwood Football Club. A husband and father of four teenagers, Dickie’s weekend is full of watching his kids play footy and cricket and he also has a hand in his family’s commercial real estate portfolio. A veteran of the SANFL, Dickie played 81 games for Norwood and 48 games for Glenelg, including a Best and Fairest in 1999.

Glen Turner

Fast Facts
Glen (or GT as we know him) has been involved in Premier Cricket in South Australia as both a coach and administrator for the last 14 years. He spent many years in the USA where he became a part owner of IVF treatment and research company Repromed. Prior to becoming an ACA Accredited Agent with Helix, GT worked in the sporting goods retail industry where he developed an extensive network. GT is known for his passion for sport and for helping his clients fulfill their potential

Nick Allan

Fast Facts

Nick is our West Australian Cricket Agent working with emerging talent coming through the WA junior ranks. He completed a Bachelor of Commerce – Accounting & Finance at Notre Dame and after graduation he soon began work in this field. Nick has always been passionate about sport and has played junior cricket at Fremantle District Cricket Club and football with Claremont in the WAFL. He has worked in AFL player management since 2020, where he has helped many young players in the lead up to being selected in the AFL National Draft. With his finance skillset and experience in AFL player management, Nick has been a great addition to the Helix team.

Steven Trigg

Steven has considerable experience in a wide range of leadership situations – particularly in relation to business, service industries, sports management and media.

His business and Human Resource skills were initially developed with an international aviation company, requiring strategic management and leadership of HR and IR programs (including Enterprise Bargaining) – and extensive dealing and negotiation with government bodies. Those skills – and others such as strategic planning, project management and general leadership – have since been applied in senior management roles including the positions of Chief Executive at both the Adelaide and Carlton Football Clubs.

He has also served on a number of commercial and charitable Boards; and has completed a ‘Masters of Business Administration’ – to complement an Education Degree and a Management Diploma. Steven’s major strength is that he has extensive leadership and management experience with people in diverse and very complex and demanding organisations. Specifically, those strengths are in the areas of wine, elite sport, media/public relations, change management, policy development, project management, governance and general administration. He is married to Susie, and has two girls.

Gregg Harris MBA

Gregg runs his own Career Coaching and Consulting Business – TurningPoint. Following a restructure at NAB in 2019, Gregg left the banking and finance industry via a redundancy after almost 25 years. His most recent role was State Manager. This role oversaw the entire South Australian retail and business banking divisions which included more than 700 employees, 280,000 customer relationships and over $20 billion in outstanding’s, plus encompassing the Northern Territory, Northern Western Australia, and Western NSW retail banking teams. Furthermore, Gregg led many projects and chaired numerous committees, these included Chair of Retail’s National Emergency Crisis team, Sponsor of the national service and sales approach and led NAB’s indigenous and remote community work post the Royal Commission. In 2016, Gregg was recognised with the NAB CEO award for outstanding leadership during the implementation of a billion-dollar origination platform whilst leading company high customer satisfaction results.Gregg has nearly 25 years’ experience as a Leadership Executive with exposure to the South Australia, Northern Territory, Western Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania markets. He started his career in a branch as a bank teller and progressed through a range of executive and senior management roles with NAB, and previously Commonwealth Bank and the former Trust Bank.

David McKay

David is a successful automotive industry owner with experience in new car franchises, wholesale distribution and auction houses. He has played top level football across three states – Penguin in Tasmania, Carlton in Victoria, and West Torrens in South Australia. In fact, David was the youngest player to pull on a Carlton VFL football club guernsey. He has been a player manager and an on-air sports broadcaster for channels 7,9,10 and 2 as well as radio with 5AA. David was a pioneer of player management, working with the AFL players association to develop player agent rules and regulations. Also, an accomplished number four batsman, David played district cricket with Essendon before transferring to Adelaide where he played his final days with the Hahndorf Cricket Club. The uncle of Australian one day cricket star, Clint McKay, David is a cricket and all-round sports tragic. He is passionate about providing junior pathways into sport, passionate about local communities and sharing his business and sporting expertise.
